In his book, Murder In Room 117, Arthur Kent delves into the shadows of history to uncover the chilling truth behind the murder of the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, Spike Dubs, in 1979. While the official narrative painted an inconclusive investigation by Washington, Kent's meticulous research reveals a different story altogether. The book sheds light on how the State Department's investigator pointed the finger at Soviet KGB spies and Afghanistan's Communist regime, ultimately setting off a chain of events that would shape the world for decades.
