10 November, 2021
On the 11th of November, the time comes to remember our fallen. The 120,000 Canadians who gave their lives in military service for our freedom and for Canadian values around the world. They fought against oppression and were the catalyst for the country that we are all proud to call our own. It is not a time to recognize our surviving veterans or our serving Canadian Forces Members. It is a time for our dead. Those who made the ultimate sacrifice and "gave up all of their tomorrows for our todays". On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month - for a short time - we will only remember them, lest we forget.
